About Us

For several years, Deborah and Dannah, a mother-daughter team, have treated family, friends and business acquaintances to their delectable brittle and toffee during the Christmas holidays.

In 2009, an amazing opportunity presented itself through the generosity of Jennifer Goff, owner of Flavors of Louisiana located in Avondale, Arizona. Exclaiming that she had never tasted such delicious brittle, she invited the pair to use her restaurant to start a business. Insurance and health permits were quickly obtained, and DD’s Desert Delights was born.

The gourmet brittle and toffee began showing up at farmers’ markets, specialty boutiques and craft fairs throughout the Valley of the Sun. Snowbirds migrated back to their cold climates with the memory of gourmet brittle tantalizing their taste buds, and requests for more began pouring in. This website is a result of cravings created from California to Canada!
